This will be thrown out of court, she really needs to concentrate her energy into something more productive. |

I don't have a problem believing her. KSJ has backed up her statements about the work environment. I just don't see why she thinks a lawsuit is going to be successful after all this time. She could have brought this suit about being effectively forced out of the job a long time ago. Instead of seemingly quitting, of her own free will, then alternating between unleashing erratic tirades about her boss and coworkers on social media and campaigning to get rehired. She's may very well have done more harm than good to a legitimate cause, and legitimate or not, of course they won't take her back, after all that.

I used to have some respect for her, but really she has to stop. I have asked many times, why can't she develop her own projects like Tyler Perry, Mara Brock Akil (Being Mary Jane, The Game), etc. who has proved their capabilities and skills. It would be prudent for her to show that she has skills to do the work she has spoken of so much. But no, since she left Y&R - she has spend the better part of the time blasting her previous employer. |

This can't end well. I love her and Drucilla was a favorite of mine but she continues to marginalize herself. She is venturing very close to Brenda Dickson territory. |

She had other acting jobs over the years and it will remain either in litigation for decades or be thrown out of court. |

She will lose this case for sure....unless she has proof of some kind. I *fully* understand why CBS/Y&R/SONY would never hire her back and its not because she is black. Edited by Mitchapalooza, Feb 11 2015, 03:34 PM.

why after seven years, she decides to file a lawsuit? It makes no sense? couldn't she try to get a part on one of Tyler's many projects? Couldn't she do something else? Why is she so obsessed with Y&R? Hasn't she seen that those big companies (CBS) is shying away from daytime soaps? What if the CBS cancels the show next year? What will she do? |

I don't think she needs to create her own show. It's a worthy cause to fight for fair treatment behind the scenes at the soaps. |

Isn't it a little late for her to sue? Shouldn't she have sued when she was fired? Just saying ... |

They should cast her on The Haves and The Have Nots! She would be AWESOME! They have Tika (SP?) Sumpter from OLTL on there. Lots of bitchy parts that Victoria would put the rest to shame! |

This is a civil rights case so how come the govt isn't involved? Because she has no case. Behind the camera hiring is done through unions, she should sue the union if she thinks they don't have enough black workers. When a call goes out for a electrician or grip or whatever, they call the union, the union sends the next guy on the list, and he's hired. It's very difficult to prove that they won't rehire her because she's black when their are black people on the show. The atty's will gladly take her money, she'll end up broke and being Brenda Dickson's roomate. I think maybe she needs to check in at Fairview for awhile. |

Ms. Rowell was not fired. She chose to quit on her own. As far as I know, no employer is under any obligations to rehire an employee who choose to leave on their own. Especially one who has spent years bad-mouthing and now using our court system to bully the employer to rehire. Again, where is her self-respect. |

It seems petty they haven't brought her back. Stafford is gone, the writers and producers who were involved in her 2007 qui-firing are gone, why isn't she back when almost everyone wants it and agree she's probably the last "name" in the current climate who could still bring a ratings boost? Why? Because Peter Bergman spoke out against her and it might be awkward for him? It's been 8 years that she's been practically Brenda Dicksoned by Y&R. The passage of time only highlights why she's seeking compensation. Edited by Drew, Feb 11 2015, 09:45 PM.

Frankly, Bravo should be repeating what they did with RHOBH and put Victoria Rowell in RHOA. Especially if Nene finally does call it a day. |
